Psalm 62
1My soul rests in God alone. My salvation is from him. 2I will never be greatly shaken. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress— 3would all of you throw him down, Like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence? How long will you assault a man, 4They delight in lies. They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. They fully intend to throw him down from his lofty place. Selah. 5for my expectation is from him. My soul, wait in silence for God alone, 6I will not be shaken. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. 7The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. With God is my salvation and my honor. 8Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. Trust in him at all times, you people. Selah. 9and men of high degree are a lie. They are together lighter than a breath. Surely men of low degree are just a breath, In the balances they will go up. 10Don’t become vain in robbery. don’t set your heart on them. Don’t trust in oppression. If riches increase, 11twice I have heard this, that power belongs to God. God has spoken once; 12for you reward every man according to his work. Also to you, Lord, belongs loving kindness,
