Psalm 115

1Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your loving kindness, and for your truth’s sake. 2“Where is their God, now?” Why should the nations say, 3He does whatever he pleases. But our God is in the heavens. 4the work of men’s hands. Their idols are silver and gold, 5They have eyes, but they don’t see. They have mouths, but they don’t speak. 6They have noses, but they don’t smell. They have ears, but they don’t hear. 7They have feet, but they don’t walk, neither do they speak through their throat. They have hands, but they don’t feel. 8yes, everyone who trusts in them. Those who make them will be like them; 9He is their help and their shield. Israel, trust in Yahweh! 10He is their help and their shield. House of Aaron, trust in Yahweh! 11He is their help and their shield. You who fear Yahweh, trust in Yahweh! 12He will bless the house of Israel. He will bless the house of Aaron. Yahweh remembers us. He will bless us. 13both small and great. He will bless those who fear Yahweh, 14you and your children. May Yahweh increase you more and more, 15who made heaven and earth. Blessed are you by Yahweh, 16but the earth has he given to the children of men. The heavens are the heavens of Yahweh; 17neither any who go down into silence; The dead don’t praise Yah, 18from this time forward and forever more. But we will bless Yah, Praise Yah!
