1Yahweh, how my adversaries have increased! Many are those who rise up against me. 2* Many there are who say of my soul, Selah. 3my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, 4and he answers me out of his holy hill. I cry to Yahweh with my voice, Selah. 5I awakened; for Yahweh sustains me. I laid myself down and slept. 6who have set themselves against me on every side. I will not be afraid of tens of thousands of people 7Save me, my God! You have broken the teeth of the wicked. Arise, Yahweh! For you have struck all of my enemies on the cheek bone. 8Your blessing be on your people. Salvation belongs to Yahweh. Selah.
