Psalm 34

1* I will bless Yahweh at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth. 2The humble shall hear of it, and be glad. My soul shall boast in Yahweh. 3Let us exalt his name together. Oh magnify Yahweh with me. 4and delivered me from all my fears. I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, 5Their faces shall never be covered with shame. They looked to him, and were radiant. 6and saved him out of all his troubles. This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him, 7and delivers them. Yahweh’s angel encamps around those who fear him, 8Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. 9for there is no lack with those who fear him. Oh fear Yahweh, you his saints, 10but those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, 11I will teach you the fear of Yahweh. Come, you children, listen to me. 12and loves many days, that he may see good? Who is someone who desires life, 13and your lips from speaking lies. Keep your tongue from evil, 14seek peace, and pursue it. Depart from evil, and do good. 15His ears listen to their cry. Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous. 16to cut off their memory from the earth. Yahweh’s face is against those who do evil, 17and delivers them out of all their troubles. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, 18and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, 19but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, 20Not one of them is broken. He protects all of his bones. 21Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned. Evil shall kill the wicked. 22None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned. Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants.
