Psalm 142
1I cry with my voice to Yahweh. With my voice, I ask Yahweh for mercy. 2I tell him my troubles. I pour out my complaint before him. 3you knew my route. they have hidden a snare for me. When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, On the path in which I walk, 4for there is no one who is concerned for me. Refuge has fled from me. No one cares for my soul. Look on my right, and see; 5I said, “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.” I cried to you, Yahweh. 6for I am in desperate need. For they are stronger than me. Listen to my cry, deliver me from my persecutors, 7that I may give thanks to your name. for you will be good to me. Bring my soul out of prison, The righteous will surround me,
