Psalm 105
1Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name! Make his doings known among the peoples. 2Tell of all his marvelous works. Sing to him, sing praises to him! 3Let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice. Glory in his holy name. 4Seek his face forever more. Seek Yahweh and his strength. 5his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth, Remember his marvelous works that he has done; 6you children of Jacob, his chosen ones. you offspring * of Abraham, his servant, 7His judgments are in all the earth. He is Yahweh, our God. 8the word which he commanded to a thousand generations, He has remembered his covenant forever, 9his oath to Isaac, the covenant which he made with Abraham, 10to Israel for an everlasting covenant, and confirmed the same to Jacob for a statute; 11the lot of your inheritance”; saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan, 12yes, very few, and foreigners in it. when they were but a few men in number, 13from one kingdom to another people. They went about from nation to nation, 14Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes, He allowed no one to do them wrong. 15Do my prophets no harm!” “Don’t touch my anointed ones! 16He destroyed the food supplies. He called for a famine on the land. 17Joseph was sold for a slave. He sent a man before them. 18His neck was locked in irons, They bruised his feet with shackles. 19and Yahweh’s word proved him true. until the time that his word happened, 20even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free. The king sent and freed him; 21and ruler of all of his possessions; He made him lord of his house, 22and to teach his elders wisdom. to discipline his princes at his pleasure, 23Jacob lived in the land of Ham. Israel also came into Egypt. 24and made them stronger than their adversaries. He increased his people greatly, 25to conspire against his servants. He turned their heart to hate his people, 26and Aaron, whom he had chosen. He sent Moses, his servant, 27and wonders in the land of Ham. They performed miracles among them, 28They didn’t rebel against his words. He sent darkness, and made it dark. 29and killed their fish. He turned their waters into blood, 30even in the rooms of their kings. Their land swarmed with frogs, 31and lice in all their borders. He spoke, and swarms of flies came, 32with lightning in their land. He gave them hail for rain, 33and shattered the trees of their country. He struck their vines and also their fig trees, 34and the grasshoppers, without number, He spoke, and the locusts came, 35and ate up the fruit of their ground. ate up every plant in their land; 36the first fruits of all their manhood. He struck also all the firstborn in their land, 37There was not one feeble person among his tribes. He brought them out with silver and gold. 38for the fear of them had fallen on them. Egypt was glad when they departed, 39fire to give light in the night. He spread a cloud for a covering, 40and satisfied them with the bread of the sky. They asked, and he brought quails, 41They ran as a river in the dry places. He opened the rock, and waters gushed out. 42and Abraham, his servant. For he remembered his holy word, 43his chosen with singing.
