Psalm 48

1Great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised, in the city of our God, in his holy mountain. 2is Mount Zion, on the north sides, the city of the great King. Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, 3God has shown himself in her citadels as a refuge. 4they passed by together. For, behold, the kings assembled themselves, 5They were dismayed. They hurried away. They saw it, then they were amazed. 6pain, as of a woman in travail. Trembling took hold of them there, 7With the east wind, you break the ships of Tarshish. 8in the city of Yahweh of Armies, in the city of our God. As we have heard, so we have seen, God will establish it forever. Selah. 9in the middle of your temple. We have thought about your loving kindness, God, 10so is your praise to the ends of the earth. Your right hand is full of righteousness. As is your name, God, 11Let the daughters of Judah rejoice, Because of your judgments. Let Mount Zion be glad! 12Number its towers. Walk about Zion, and go around her. 13Consider her palaces, that you may tell it to the next generation. Mark well her bulwarks. 14He will be our guide even to death. For this God is our God forever and ever.
