Psalm 108

1My heart is steadfast, God. I will sing and I will make music with my soul. 2I will wake up the dawn. Wake up, harp and lyre! 3I will sing praises to you among the peoples. I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations. 4Your faithfulness reaches to the skies. For your loving kindness is great above the heavens. 5Let your glory be over all the earth. Be exalted, God, above the heavens! 6save with your right hand, and answer us. That your beloved may be delivered, 7I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth. God has spoken from his sanctuary: “In triumph, 8Ephraim also is my helmet. Judah is my scepter. Gilead is mine. Manasseh is mine. 9I will toss my sandal on Edom. I will shout over Philistia.” Moab is my wash pot. 10Who has led me to Edom? Who will bring me into the fortified city? 11You don’t go out, God, with our armies. Haven’t you rejected us, God? 12for the help of man is vain. Give us help against the enemy, 13For it is he who will tread down our enemies. Through God, we will do valiantly.
